Core Privacy Principle: PDF Scanner Pro is architected with a strict Device-First, Zero-Knowledge approach. Your scanned documents, captured images, extracted OCR text, and generated PDF files remain strictly confidential and stored locally on your device storage. We do NOT harvest, sell, or profile your personal files.

1. Information We Collect and How We Use It

We believe in radical data minimization. We only access device resources strictly required to deliver the core mobile scanner functionality:

Camera Access (android.permission.CAMERA): Used exclusively while the scanner viewfinder is active to capture paper documents, receipts, IDs, and book pages. Raw camera streams are processed in real-time in device memory and never transmitted to our servers.
Device Storage & Media (Scoped Storage / Storage Access Framework): Used solely to import existing images or documents you choose to edit, and to save your exported PDF and Office files into your device storage directory. We do not inspect or index unrelated files.
On-Device Machine Learning (OCR): Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is performed directly on your device utilizing Google ML Kit. Your documents are not uploaded to remote cloud servers for recognition unless you explicitly choose cloud translation.
Anonymous Device Telemetry & Diagnostics: Anonymous system metrics (such as device model, OS version, app crash logs, and session activity) may be transmitted to app.levuai.com solely to resolve bugs and optimize performance. No document content is ever included in diagnostic payloads.

2. Third-Party Services & Monetization

To support ongoing maintenance and provide free daily scans, PDF Scanner Pro integrates industry-standard monetization SDKs:

Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): We serve non-personalized and personalized banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads. Google AdMob may collect and process standard anonymous advertising identifiers (Google Advertising ID / GAID) in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
Google Play In-App Billing: Premium and Pro subscription transactions are processed entirely through Google Play's secure payment infrastructure. We never receive, store, or process your credit card numbers or financial credentials.

3. VIP Bug Bounty & Diagnostic Submissions

If you choose to participate in our optional in-app Bug Bounty & Feedback feature, you may submit feedback or crash reports directly to the AB_STUDIO engineering team. Submissions transmit your provided description, device model, and anonymous hardware specifications so we can reproduce and patch the defect. In return, verified reports may receive promotional Over-The-Air VIP access tokens.

4. Data Security & Anti-Tamper Protection

All network communications with app.levuai.com for remote configuration, security integrity checks, and crash diagnostics are encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS 1.3 cryptographic protocols with HMAC signature verification to safeguard against data interception and spoofing.

5. Data Retention, Deletion & Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Because your scanned documents remain stored locally on your device, you have complete control over your content at all times. You can permanently delete any document directly from within the app at any moment, which immediately purges the file from your disk.
